Acceptable Stay with Some Disappointments

friendly hostsmall roomweak shower pressure
The host was very friendly and helpful .
The room size was quite small and not as expected, it felt a bit cramped. The bathroom had a musty smell. The shower pressure was very weak. It made showering difficult and frustrating.

Adequate Guest House

convenient locationhelpful hostbreakfastlimited parkinglimited light
The location was convenient. It was near the South pier. The room had a fridge. This was particularly useful for keeping drinks cold. The breakfast was prepared to our specifications (I liked that the host was flexible).
Carrying luggage to the upper floors was difficult. The room lacked natural light (my room was on the ground floor). Parking was limited (I had to park down the street).

Alton welcomed me. He was completely attentive to my needs. he kept a parking space for me as i arrived. the room was very spacious. It was also clean. the location proved ideal for accessing the pleasure beach.
the room could have used a bit more ventilation. there was a slight stuffiness that lingered throughout my stay. a small window would make a big difference.

Fantastic Stay!

close locationearly roomcooked breakfast
I had such a good time. The location was perfect, very close to the tram and bus stop on the prom. My room was ready early. I was thrilled. The breakfast was freshly cooked, and I had great choices.
The fridge made a slight noise, which I found a tiny bit bothersome. Though it was a minor thing.
Facilities
9/10
The room featured tea and coffee making facilities. It was handy to have a fan available, and I found fresh milk in the fridge. The en-suite was clean with a working shower unit.
Dining
10/10
The dining room was nice, and I had fresh coffee during breakfast. I chose my fresh cooked breakfast. I did not need a buffet. The breakfast tasted amazing and nothing was too much trouble.
